I taught legal research and writing as part of my "Introduction to Tort Law" in 2004-05. I continue to provide extensive research/writing training for LL.B. and LL.M. students who work as research assistant on various projects. Students learn how to search for and retrieve primary and secondary sources from different jurisdictions, synthesize these materials to obtain an understanding of the law in respect of various topics and communicate the results of their research in the form of memos or even sections of articles.

If you're already working or studying with me, and I've directed you to this page, it is to look at this research checklist that I've prepared. There's also this highly valuable intellectual property research guide, prepared by Sharon Wang of the Osgoode Hall Law School Library.
