I last taught Tort Law as a small group seminar for first-year students at uOttawa in 2004-05, but tort concepts come up repeatedly in my research and teaching of property and intellectual property. The course covered both intentional torts, like trespass and nuisance, as well as the law of negligence, which we mapped out like this:
